Community Manager Intern
Role Summary
You’ll be the online voice and offline bridge between LACI and the people we serve. Your job is to build and nurture our community of volunteers, donors, and beneficiaries.
Key Responsibilities
Manage LACI’s WhatsApp groups, Instagram DMs, and Facebook comments — respond within 24hrs
Onboard new volunteers and guide them to their first outreach
Collect stories, testimonials, and feedback from beneficiaries after programs
Moderate online community discussions and flag urgent child welfare cases to staff
Grow our online following through consistent, empathetic engagement
Requirements
Student/graduate of Mass Comm, Sociology, Social Work, or related field
Strong written English + active on social media
Empathetic, patient, and genuinely cares about children
Can commit 10-15 hrs/week
